The location was good, plenty of restaurants in the area, easy walk to railway station and into the city. Good breakfast and a very helpful breakfast waiter. Perfect for a short stay.
Although the room was clean and comfortable it would benefit from some general re-decoration, the pictures in the listing were probably of the hotel's best room.
location was right on top of a metro station well positioned in the city, room with relatively enough space, good heating, good cleaning services, a typical breakfast is included and in a reasonable room price (for Paris), shower with glass doors, helpful/typical staff
the specific room had a small shower and because of the glass doors it was hard for a tall/big person to enter or exit. The water was constantly turning from hot to cold, every day and time, (probably other guests were using showers). There was no proper door separating the bathroom/WC from the room, there was just a wooden door that was dragged but didnt close properly. I 'm guessing due to old installations and building.
The location was great as it is within walking distance of the Gare du Nord and just in front of a Metro station. The comfort was fair and I think the value for money was good.
The hotel was very near Republic square and with easy access to metro. Of all persons in reception, just one appeared helpful.
The room smelled badly with no air conditioning and it was very very small. The hotel was old and the dining room was somewhere like a cave under the ground with a very poor buffet breakfast. All days just a few pieces of jambon and cheese... On the second day, it seemed that they hadn't replaced towels and everybody was complaining. It was like a one star hotel and with that price, it was like throwing out your money.
Simple and modern decorated hotel. Kind and courteous staff is always at your service. The hotel is in a good position as a starting point for a tourist visit.
Location. A subway in the corner, and 10 min walking to Sena River ( Notre Dame)
The reception girl was not so adorable. Just answered your english question on french answers.
It is a good location if stopping in Paris on the way to somewhere else, very close to the metro, about 15 minutes walk from the Gare du Nord. Some of the more touristy things are further away but it is close the Marais for restaurants shops etc.
There is noise from the nearby main road if the windows are open. The rooms feel a bit run down and shabby. Otherwise it is pretty comparable with similarly priced hotels in central Paris.
The good location, near a metro station - easy to reach.
A poor breakfast, the computer in the lobby of the hotel was just a furniture, the free internet connection was not available for the first 5 days, the rooms have the windows in an inner court, in construction, very noisy all the day, just 5 tv channels, all in French...and so on.
Very little. really small room stifling hot. no fan. no fridge. a room siutable for one person travelling alone. very small lift. staff not friendly. breakfast is expensive with a veryu little choice. no internet service.i would not hotel. thanks.
A lot of things. mentioned above.
The hotel is super cute and cozy. The bathrooms are renovated and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great- steps from the metro which is one stop from central Republique. Breakfast included and when I booked there was a great booking deal- wonderful value for money!
The rooms were very hot, despite the fan provided but the weather was unseasonably hot during my stay.
Free Internet location near Eurostar
Hotel claimed to have an iron but couldn't find it. I ask 4 times and each time the receptionist simply didn't know where it was. This was v unfortunate as I needed to attend a business meeting. Staff were not apologetic
The only thing I liked about this hotel was the free wi-fi in the lobby. Even then the lobby was tiny and if I wanted to go on Skype to talk to my family at home, I'd have to be comfortable with having everyone in the lobby listen to my conversations.
It had been raining in Paris when I landed but that's no reason why my room should smell of dampness. I couldn't stand it. I thought I'd open a window to let some air in, but nothing helped. The bathroom wasn't very clean. There were stains on the walls. The outlets were hidden behind some kind of desk. The TV had no English channels. The room itself was tiny. It was so bad, I ended up only staying one night and going to a different hotel. This different hotel was much much nicer, reception was so helpful, and the price was just a little bit more than Pavillion Republique. My whole Paris experience changed for the better after switching hotels.
Fast access to the Metro, good breakfast.
The room was not very well isolated from the noise outside (we had a room facing the street).
This place was incredibly bad. The photos on website and in lobby are of a completely different hotel. It was visibly dirty, small, old, and unsuitably furnished. There was not a single electrical outlet accessible in my bedroom! Check-in also took forever.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was small and basic but clean and quiet. The breakfast was great and location was not pretty, but close and good for exploring and underground connections.
Shower was a bit funky, nowhere to hang spray attachment so hard to hold and shower etc.
